Anti-Fraud Policy
ZonaCNC deploys reasonable measures to detect and prevent fraudulent conduct by both buyers and sellers. This policy summarizes these measures and provides security recommendations for users.
A.1 Seller Verification
Sellers with a Pro plan or higher are subject to KYC verification:
- Validation of NIF/VAT in VIES for intra-community operators.
- Verification of bank account ownership of the invoiced account.
- Manual review of the documentation provided (tax registration, deed).
Verified sellers display the "Verified seller" seal on their public profile.
A.2 Monitored Red Flags
ZonaCNC monitors automated signals, including:
- Opening multiple accounts from the same IP or device.
- Sudden price changes or mass deletion of listings.
- Suspicious messaging patterns: urgency, demand for advance transfer, generic emails.
- IP geolocation inconsistent with the declared address.
- Matches with internal lists of expelled sellers or users with confirmed complaints.
A.3 Recommendations for Sellers
- Keep your tax and banking information up to date.
- Be wary of buyers who refuse in-person inspection or expert appraisal.
- Do not ship the machine before confirming the payment has cleared in your account.
- Beware of bank checks and overpayment scams.
A.4 Recommendations for Buyers
- Verify the seller's identity (seal, tax details, tenure on the Platform).
- Request an in-person inspection or independent appraisal before paying.
- Use traceable payment methods in the name of the verified seller.
- Reject transfers to accounts other than the invoiced one or to non-matching beneficiaries.
- Be wary of prices well below market value.
- Keep communication within the internal messaging system until confirmation.
A.5 Reporting Channel
