Roland MODELA MDX15 (with only 50 hours of use, final degree project), is a 3D contact scanning and milling machine. It mills and cuts materials for three-dimensional objects created with 3D software, and can also engrave plates using linear drawing data. The kit includes an AC adapter, power cable, Roland software package, rotor unit, sensor unit (3D scanner), T-shaped serial cable (RS-232C class) personally assembled and tested (a straight serial cable, like the one typically used to connect a modem, cannot be used), 4 M4 x 15 hex head screws, M3 x 3 set screw, front cover, two hex keys (one 3mm and one 1.5mm), 2 positioning pins (diameter 3 mm, length 20 mm), double-sided tape, clay, and user manual. The programs included on the two CDs are: MODELA (MODELA Player, MODELA 3D DESIGN, MODELA 3D TEXT), Virtual MODELA, Dr.Engrave, 3D Engrave, Dr.PICZA. If you do not have a serial port on your computer, you would need to enable the serial port on the motherboard with a suitable connector for the purpose; if you do not have the connector, I can also provide it.
