Specific Terms for Buyers
These terms supplement the General Terms and Conditions and apply to users who use ZonaCNC to find and contact sellers.
C.1 Access
Browsing listings is public. Contacting a seller requires free registration as a user.
C.2 Nature of contact
When you contact a seller through the Platform, your data (name, email address, phone number if provided, and the content of the message) will be transmitted to the seller, who from that moment becomes an independent controller of the data processing. ZonaCNC retains an internal copy for anti-fraud and dispute resolution purposes for 24 months after the thread is closed.
C.3 Contract with the seller
The purchase agreement is entered into directly between the buyer and seller, outside the scope of ZonaCNC. The terms of the contract (final price, warranties, payment, shipping, delivery, language) are agreed upon bilaterally and are the sole responsibility of the parties.
C.4 Consumer buyer
If you act as a consumer (use unrelated to your professional activity), you benefit from the enhanced protection of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users. ZonaCNC does not guarantee that all sellers apply the consumer regime; we recommend verifying this before contracting.
C.5 Buyer premium services
If ZonaCNC offers premium services aimed at buyers in the future (advanced alerts, etc.), these will be cancellable at the end of the current period. The consumer will have a 14-day right of withdrawal when the service has not been fully performed with their express consent.
C.6 Anti-fraud recommendations
ZonaCNC recommends:
- Verify the seller's identity before transferring funds. Check that the "Verified seller" seal is present when applicable.
- Inspect the machine on-site or through an independent expert appraisal before paying.
- Use traceable payment methods (nominal bank transfer to the seller's tax ID). Reject transfers to accounts different from the invoiced one or to beneficiaries not matching the seller's name.
- Be wary of abnormally low prices.
- Keep communication within the internal messaging system until verification.
If you detect suspicious behavior, report it to fraude@zonacnc.com.
C.7 Processing of your data
The processing of your data by ZonaCNC is governed by the Privacy Policy. The processing by the seller you contact is governed by the seller's own privacy policy, which will be provided to you when the relationship begins.
C.8 Claims against the seller
Claims arising from the purchase must be directed to the seller. ZonaCNC offers voluntary mediation through mesa@zonacnc.com, which is non-binding unless expressly agreed otherwise. As a consumer, you have additional access to the European ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
C.9 Claims against ZonaCNC
If your claim concerns the operation of the Platform, contact reclamaciones@zonacnc.com. We will respond within a maximum of 15 calendar days.
